Elluminate News: Press Release

With limited budgets and limited time, it is impossible to fly everyone to a central location for training. In the past, the chances of reaching thousands of workers, including the national staffs of our members, were very remote. However, using Elluminate, LINGOs and our members are now conducting regular webinars, on-line training, and collaboration activities that previously were impossible.

Telephone costs in the Developing World are prohibitively expensive for long conversations. particularly over many hours, and the integrated VoIP of Elluminate Live! made the training possible. Many of the Internet connections can be intermittent or slow, and so having good low-bandwidth performance and buffering of sound are essential for the work we do. We are grateful to Elluminate for their generosity in making this tool available to us and our members. Without it, we simply would not be able to do our work.

We are honored to be recognized by LINGOs as a key component in helping the organization promote the sharing of learning, training, and technology for members and relief workers worldwide. At Elluminate, our mission is to transform teaching and learning on a global level with our enabling technology. We welcome the opportunities LINGOs has provided for us to do just that.
